Pekanbaru, August 11, 2025 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Riau University once again achieved a remarkable achievement with the inauguration of three lecturers as Professors through an Open Session of the Riau University Senate held at the Riau University Student Center Building.
The three Professors are:
Prof. Dr. Elfizar, S.Si, M.Kom – Professor in the Computer Science Branch of Science/Expertise
Prof. Tetty Marta Linda, S.Si, M.Si, Ph.D – Professor in the Microbiology and Biotechnology Branch of Science/Expertise
Prof. Dr. Yanuar, M.Si – Professor in the Advanced Materials Branch of Science/Expertise
The Rector of Riau University, in his remarks, expressed his pride in this achievement. The Dean of FMIPA UNRI also expressed his appreciation and hopes that the new Professors will continue to make significant contributions, both nationally and internationally.
At this inauguration ceremony, each professor delivered a scientific speech in their field of expertise, highlighting their ideas, research findings, and contributions to the development of science and technology.
The event was attended by university leaders, academics, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), and guests from various institutions. This inauguration increased the number of professors at FMIPA UNRI and served as motivation for other lecturers to continue their work and achievements.
