Pekanbaru, July 19, 2025 — The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the University of Riau (UNRI) officially established a partnership with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Mulawarman University (UNMUL) through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to strengthen collaboration in academics, research, and community service.
The MoA signing took place on the sidelines of SEMIRATA 2025, organized by FMIPA and FKIP UNRI. It was attended by the Deans of FMIPA UNRI and FMIPA UNMUL, along with faculty leaders from both parties.
Through this collaboration, the two faculties agreed to encourage joint research programs, lecturer and student exchanges, collaborative scientific publications, and the development of community service programs. Furthermore, the collaboration includes holding joint seminars and scientific forums, as well as strengthening curriculum development.
This collaboration is expected to form the basis for a productive and sustainable long-term relationship, supporting the strategic role of higher education institutions in realizing progress in science, technology, and national development.
