Pekanbaru, July 22, 2025 — The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the University of Riau signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Tualang District, Siak Regency, as a form of joint commitment to implementing the Community Service program.
The MoA signing took place on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, and was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University of Riau, the Tualang District Head, along with district officials and FMIPA UNRI lecturers involved in the community service program.
This collaboration aims to support community service activities oriented towards community empowerment in the Tualang District, particularly in the areas of science education, the environment, appropriate technology, and improving the capacity of local human resources.
Through this MoA, the community service activities of FMIPA UNRI lecturers and students will be more structured and targeted, and will open up opportunities for long-term synergy between the academic world and the local government in efforts to foster knowledge-based community development.
