The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Universitas Riau continues to expand its collaboration network with various educational institutions. On Friday, September 26, 2025, FMIPA UNRI officially signed a memorandum of understanding with SMK Inayah Ujung Batu, located in Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province.
The event, held at the Putri Tujuh Foundation Building, was attended by Prof. Syamsudhuha, Dean of FMIPA UNRI, and Azrimelda, M.Pd., Principal of SMK Inayah. The signing of the cooperation document was also witnessed by the Chairman of BPL Foundation, Juliardi, M.Pd.

This collaboration focuses on improving the quality of education through various joint activities, including training programs for teachers and students. Following the signing ceremony, FMIPA UNRI organized two training sessions: a GeoGebra workshop for teachers conducted by the Mathematics faculty team, and a data visualization workshop for students led by the Statistics faculty team.
Interestingly, after the training sessions concluded, the FMIPA UNRI delegation had the opportunity to enjoy horseback riding on the school grounds. SMK Inayah owns five horses, which are used as a sports facility for students—a rare feature for vocational schools in the region.

In addition, the Inayah Foundation is well known for its excellent learning facilities. Almost every year, the school receives support and assistance from the Ministry of Education, enabling it to provide modern learning resources for its students.
This collaboration is expected not only to strengthen the relationship between FMIPA UNRI and SMK Inayah but also to pave the way for broader partnerships in enhancing the quality of education in Riau.
