Pekanbaru, August 13, 2025 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the University of Riau officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with PT Indosat Tbk on Wednesday (August 13). This collaboration aims to strengthen the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, particularly in the areas of education, research, and community service.
The MoA signing took place at the FMIPA UNRI campus and was attended by the Dean of the FMIPA UNRI, along with faculty leaders, and representatives from Indosat management.
In his remarks, the Dean of FMIPA UNRI stated that this collaboration will open up broad opportunities for students and lecturers, both in digital competency development, research collaboration, and technology-based community service activities. "We hope this collaboration can encourage joint innovation between campus and industry, thereby providing tangible benefits to society," he said.
Meanwhile, Indosat emphasized the company's commitment to supporting the higher education ecosystem in Indonesia. "Indosat is ready to collaborate with FMIPA UNRI to provide digital solutions and collaborative programs that have a positive impact, in line with our vision of building an inclusive digital Indonesia," said an Indosat representative.
