Pekanbaru, August 17, 2025 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Riau (FMIPA UNRI), with gratitude and pride, extends its greetings to the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.
The Dean of FMIPA UNRI, tated that this Independence Day commemoration is not merely a historical celebration, but also a profound reflection on the struggles of the nation's founders. "Independence is a gift obtained through extraordinary sacrifice. Our task in this era is to fulfill this independence with work, dedication, and real contributions to the nation's progress," he said.
Furthermore, the Dean of FMIPA UNRI emphasized the important role of education, particularly science and technology, in addressing the nation's various challenges. "As an academic institution, FMIPA UNRI is committed to producing a young generation with integrity, a global perspective, and a nationalistic spirit. Through research, innovation, and community service, we want to continue to contribute significantly to Indonesia's sustainable development."
Carrying the spirit of "Golden Indonesia 2045," the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at UNRI urged the entire academic community to continue to unite, work hard, and uphold the values of unity in diversity.
